Craig Masson is a mechanical and structural reliability engineer with over 20 years of experience in deepwater riser and pipeline projects. During his professional career he has provided consultancy services for riser, pipeline, umbilical, and related subsea equipment projects. He spent 5 years as Riser & Pipeline Contract Manager in Petrobras America’s Walker Ridge Asset Department where his responsibilities included the EPCI of five free-standing hybrid riser towers. His specific capabilities include: project management and contract administration; riser, umbilical, and mooring line global performance analysis; steel catenary, top-tension, flexible, and hybrid riser design (concept through detailed); pipeline design and analysis; riser, pipeline and subsea equipment installation and pre-commissioning support; local stress and limit-state finite element analysis; and fatigue and fracture mechanics. He has presented numerous scientific publications at Subsea Conferences.
