David Muir is notably experienced in the design and installation of subsea structures including manifolds, PLEMs, PLETs, SSIVs, WHPUs, umbilicals, flowlines, pipelines, manifolds, spool pieces, diver and ROV intervention. He has significant expertise in the manufacture, fabrication, and testing of umbilicals, flexible flowlines, pipelines, risers, and rigid riser systems. He also has technical and commercial management experience in project management, client liaison, and interfaces with technical and offshore personnel/third party certifying authorities. David has a comprehensive knowledge of computer software applications and analytical problem solving techniques, coupled with excellent written and oral communication skills gained through the application of engineering solutions during a distinguished career spanning more than 40 years in subsea engineering.
