Doug Peart has been a successful leader across the Upstream Oil and Gas business for Shell companies for over 38 years. His experience spans globally and across assets in onshore, coastal, and offshore environments. He has held a number of technical and technical supervisory roles related to well and reservoir performance monitoring and well completion and remediation design and execution. He has experience in Operations leadership both managing producing assets safely and to target and safely managing completion and workover rig activity. More than half of his career has been dedicated to leading the advancement of Shell’s subsea systems and deepwater capability globally. This includes subsea system design, project planning and execution through installation and commissioning and start-up and providing technical and project support to brownfield Subsea assets. Doug has broad, accomplished leadership experience in safety management, organization culture and structure design and change management, business strategy development, development of unique and effective contractor relationships, successful application of subsea hardware standardization, and a relentless focus on learning and continuous improvement. He was inducted into the Offshore Energy Center, Technology Hall of Fame in 2010.
