Max Kattner has over 44 years’ experience in offshore drilling and production activities. He is a technically competent manager with expertise in subsea equipment, mobil offshore production systems (MOPS), floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) conversions, and project engineering support. Max is experienced in subsea production systems design, design/project management, drilling equipment products including: diverters, risers, flex joints, BOP stacks, hydraulic pipeline connectors, and motion compensators/tensioners.
He has executed Quality Assurance and HSE planning in support of the following projects: Shell Tahoe subsea completion and tieback, FPSO Ocean Producer gas lift upgrade, FPSO Zafiro Producer conversion, MOPUs Ocean Legend and Gulftide jackups conversion to production service, and a number of other worldwide projects. Previous employers include Oceaneering, Vetco, Hughes Offshore, and Hydrotech.
